Lodo's Bar and Grill - Westminster

I wasn't having the best experience until the manager, Garret, came over and acknowledged the shortfalls and went out of his way to make it right.

A whole lot of nopeEverything is overpriced ans the staff is less than friendly.

Our family came in 9/12. We’ve come a few times before and the service has gone down each time. Mind you I’ve worked in restaurants for years and am understanding because I’ve been there. There was no host like always, we waited around and finally a young man greeted us. He let us know that it is open seating, we were confused as to why it was open seating when we made a reservation, defeats the purpose of reservation. We went outside and saw all the tables were dirty so we moved the glasses off one table to another so that we could sit. After 15 minutes of waiting, I got up and went to see if we could get any service. The same young man from earlier let us know that it was a shift change and the server outside was off now… however he was kind enough to get us waters and take our drink order. He told us a server just got on and would be able to help us, after a while we noticed her going around cleaning the tables around us outside but never came to us. Everyone knows you need to bus the empty tables of course, however that should never come before attending to sitting guests. After a while the young man passed by us and was surprised we hadn’t been helped so he took over for us (he is the only reason we didn’t leave). I noticed an interaction between the female server and him, he let her know we’d been waiting and she seemed annoyed and said she didn’t know. We asked him if he could take care of us for the rest at of the dinner and he said he would, thankfully. Our meals and drinks were delicious, I will say that. When I got up to go to the restroom I noticed that the young man taking care of us was also bartending, poor thing! (We tipped him very well) Never did I see a manager walk by and check on anyone and quite frankly there should have been. This restaurant is understaffed, anyone can tell. However proper management would be out there helping, and actually managing. With short staff, there should have been a wait to ensure proper service. Very disappointing.

We are new to the area. Great spot for a burger and a beer. Beautiful deck. Too bad the smoke from western wildfires obscured the view right now. Will come back for sure.

LoDo is a convenient neighborhood restaurant. There's a great view from the patio. We were pleased to find some seemingly healthy choices: fish tacos, teriyaki bowl, in addition to salads (which we didn't have).
