Mendocino Farms - Westlake Village

This restaurant boasts a perfect location, and the food is incredibly fresh with a wide variety of options for everyone. I tried the avocado quinoa superfood salad with chicken, and it was fantastic; the quinoa was roasted, which added a delightful touch! Each ingredient was perfectly balanced. My friend ordered one of the bowls and absolutely loved it. We’re definitely planning to return and try one of the wines on tap!

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and unfortunately, I was not impressed by either the service or the quality of the food. I ordered four sandwiches, including two Chimichurri Steak Bacon sandwiches. One of these was missing the steak entirely and was overloaded with bacon, and the bread was very tough. My husband even had to share the steak from his sandwich with our son. The other two sandwiches were just okay. The Peruvian steak sandwich had bread that was quite soggy. I was there with my sister to check out the catering service, as she was considering placing an order for her baby shower, but now I don't think that will happen. Overall, it was a disappointing first experience.

Mendo never disappoints! I really enjoy the modern Caesar salad with chicken—it was especially delicious this time. The Peruvian steak and pork belly tacos are also favorites of mine. It was quite busy during our lunch visit on Saturday, so we had to wait for a table for four to become available.

Everyone was so polite and friendly, and the place was so aesthetically pleasing. The whole place was a photo op, with cool nature vibes. Food was incredible and pretty darn flavorful for a health food spot.

The best lunch place! This is our main office go-to! Salads from here are a perfect touch to any office meeting. Try their Caprese sandwich and it will truly impress.
