The Keg - West Vancouver

The restaurant had a lovely table in a peaceful setting. We began our meal with the delicious shrimp cocktail, followed by the outstanding steak and lobster. The service was exceptional, with staff who were friendly and professional. The wine prices were reasonable considering the good quality. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.

We had a fantastic dining experience as part of "Dine-Out Vancouver" at this restaurant. Our surf and turf dish was cooked perfectly and served piping hot. The wine prices were reasonable and the service was excellent, very professional.

Wanted to do a nice meal together the night before a scheduled knee replacement which ended up being canceled the next morning We live in a small town where there is no Keg. When we come to the city and we can afford it the Keg is our favourite place. Steak is great! Lobster tails are the EXCELLENT cooked to perfection. The best we have ever ate. Service is excellent as well. It’s our to go place when we can. Thanks Keg!

I went to this restaurant for a birthday celebration. We started with a shrimp cocktail (the escargot was not very good) and both ordered the steak and lobster, which were amazing and cooked to perfection. We shared a bottle of Shiraz. The service was attentive, friendly, and professional.

We were at the West Vancouver Keg for (in total just over an hour, and they only managed to serve us the one drink we ordered while waiting at their bar. We arrived early for our table reservation on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022. They suggested we wait in their bar for our table. When our table was ready, they claimed they could not find us in their bar(! , and they cancelled our table reservation. Sorry, but we were sitting right in their bar all along! With difficulty, we did manage to convince them to get us a table, and once seated, the tableside service never showed up in the 40 minutes that we sat waiting at our table. All the other tables around us got serviced, tables that were seated long after we were seated. We really wanted to wait it out to see how long the table service would finally take, but after 40 minutes of looking at empty drink glasses and the various dinner menus, we just had to give up. We headed out before any table service was ever offered. Very un-Keg like! The manager caught us on the way out while paying for our drinks, and they were kind enough to comp our two drinks. Fortunately, after leaving the West Vancouver Keg, we headed to the downtown Vancouver Keg on Dunsmuir Street to get our authentic Keg experience. The Dunsmuir Street Keg Steakhouse was excellent. We highly recommend you choose to do the same. Do not waste your time in the West Vancouver Keg, head to downtown Vancouver for a real Keg Steakhouse experience instead!
