Miku Vancouver

I had another friend east here the week before while waiting on a cruise. He said it was a top notch experience. I can confirm, we also had a top notch experience. All of the sushi, appetizers, and drinks we received were awesome.

I took my friend for her birthday. The restaurant was almost full of customers. Our server was Kana. Her smile and manner made us welcomed and comfortable at our table. while we were enjoying our cocktails, Hokkaido Scallops came. The scallops were just done and sauce was excellent. Oshizushi sample was my favourite. My first choice of wine was not available so I chose SPEARHEAD, Chardonnay. The wine was crispy, fresh and was bit too dry to me but we love it at the end. Our main was Kaisen Soba which was bit spicy but very tasty with lots of mussels, shrimps and mini octopus in it. We finished with Green tea Opera with coffee. Kana put a napkin on the floor for my friend's purse in order to avoid getting dirty. I appreciate her thoughtfulness. We enjoyed the food and service.

The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the service was exceptional.

The sushi at this restaurant was outstanding. The Salmon Oshi Sushi was a standout. All of the nigiri was incredibly fresh. The service was excellent, with a wonderful waitress. The waterfront view was a nice bonus. The restaurant was a bit noisy, which made it difficult to hear at times. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Delicious, creative food and amazing service. We loved everything about our experience at Miku.
