The man although very happy to go outside and wait, made damning comments in a very loud voice and then gestured through the window holding up his did and got several others involved. Then the waitress got involved and said he could come in with dogs and proceeded to go out and fuss the dogs taking them biscuits etc. But I did appreciate the man, although saying things at me through the window, did stay outside. However a man with a dog was sitting outside and then came in with his dog and sat on the table next to me shouting at me asking if I had a problem. I felt quite threatened and very uncomfortable. I'm not that keen having dogs around when I eat. The 2 little ones went behind the entrance. The food came which was very dry bread even after we asked if it was fresh soda bread. The manager also went outside to put the dogs and then returned to serve. I loved the cafe but just don't want to feel so uncomfortable in a cafe just because I don't want dogs around when I wear. But as the waitress informed me....dogs are very welcome....but clearly I wasn't. I have no problem with assistant dogs nor dogs but just don't appreciate them around when I'm eating.
Was okay for a lunch. Better than going to a chain. Leek patty was actually cold but rest was warm (could of been hotter). Preffered to have option of proper wholemeal bread toast with both the dishes the 2 of us had..3:5 deserves as tad better than average.
While in Whitney, Oxfordshire, England you need to try The Church Green Kitchen. The food is great and it’s a quaint little place with a friendly staff. The milkshakes are exceptional.
The hot chocolate was delightful. The cafe is small and inviting, and the staff are friendly. It's also dog-friendly, offering complimentary dog treats which was a nice gesture.
I recently visited a cafe and Taphouse called Brew, located in town. My wife and I decided to stop in for a drink on a Friday evening. We ordered a pint and a vodka and lemonade, which came to a total of £13.80. Unfortunately, we were surprised by the high prices as they weren't listed anywhere. We were a bit disappointed by this and probably won't be returning anytime soon. It's important to make a living, but charging lower prices might attract more customers. We weren't able to try the food as we ran out of money.
