Velvet Jacks - Brighton and Hove

This restaurant in Brighton is the perfect spot for a birthday celebration. The staff is incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is amazing. I highly recommend it.

Courtney and Dan are fantastic hosts in Brighton. There is never a dull moment at VJs! If you're searching for a place to have a good laugh, definitely check out this restaurant.

This establishment is great for enjoying drinks and cocktails. Unfortunately, the seating and tables are subpar and very uncomfortable.

My girlfriend and I stopped in here for a quick drink before a dinner reservation we had. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the cocktails were very, very good. We ended up returning after the meal for more cocktails and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We would definitely return again

My friend and myself went here on a Saturday afternoon. The bartender and the owner were very nice friendly and welcoming but the clientele were very different and have preventing us got ever wanting to go again. Two person's were in the bar and a dog the dog was wandering around no lead or no control he came at sat by us and my friend gave him a crisp from the other side of the bar this vile horrible queen shot across and started screaming at my friend for giving him the crisp My judgement was he it didn't want people giving it love and tip bits despite the bar tender feeding it strawberrys before the incident It should have had him either tied up undercontrol or left it at home ! I think the owners were embarrassed by them been so vile and horrible. They both seemed to be regulars at the place so unfortunately we left and wouldn't return which is a shame.
