Over Easy Diner - West Lincoln

Clean, friendly, good food. Would love more authentic Greek dressing. Generous servings. Will go again.

We've become regular diners at Over Easy. The people always welcome us, the food is better than average and served quickly and the prices are reasonable. It's worth a visit if you want a good family dining experience.

Waitresses are not courteous, there was a long brown hair intertwined in my omelet. They offered my coffee free, instead of a free breakfast. I don't recommend this place.

Stopped in for first time for a light lunch. Ordered what was supposed to be Beef with lentil soup. Turned out to beef with barley. Had a very odd flavour and lousy texture. Perhaps that is what the barley does, I don't know, but I do not like barley based soups. Beef with Lentil should be entirely different. Also ordered a Toasted English muffin with Cream Cheese. Waited 20 minutes for my food, when it came, the muffin was very small, with a lot of cream cheese in a dish, and I had no utensils, soup came a few minutes later, and a few minutes after that came my utensils. Not sure why the soup took so long, usually it is in a pot and ready to serve. They seemed very busy, so perhaps that explains the poor service, but not the lousy soup.

Went to this restaurant today with a friend. We wanted something warm because we were doing a bird count. One of the day's special was grilled cheese and chili. The cheese was Velveeta and the chili was I'm thinking Stagg chili from the can.
