West Liberty Country Club

We had dinner here tonight and had a wonderful experience. The outdoor patio is delightful and provides a lovely view of the golf course. I decided to try the Barnstormer burger, which was tasty, but it didn't quite compare to the massive taco salad I've enjoyed on previous visits. The restaurant welcomes everyone, not just members. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for a meal!

The manager displayed unprofessional behavior by sitting at the bar and engaging in an argument with me over the menu. When he eventually checked it and realized he was wrong, he merely went back to his beer without addressing the matter. I ordered fried mushrooms and pickles, and I was disappointed to find that I paid nearly $8 for just seven soggy, undercooked mushrooms. The pickles were also poorly prepared. Overall, it was a very unsatisfactory experience.

This is one of the most pleasant 9-hole courses in Eastern Iowa, and I highly recommend it!

This course is definitely not worth the price; it falls far short of even a small-town golf course standard. I would suggest looking for a different venue that provides better facilities and a more enjoyable experience. Furthermore, there's a local older gentleman who plays here with a Hawkeye golf bag and drives his own cart—he's quite noticeable. Unfortunately, he can be quite rude to other players and disrupts the game; his immature behavior should not be tolerated.

We organized a gathering for around 30 people and called the restaurant the week prior to inform them about our plans. They were extremely accommodating and kindly reserved a room for us at no cost. The staff was courteous and consistently attentive to our needs. Our group unanimously agreed that we would definitely choose to meet here again!
