First time here. Street tacos and gorditas were perfect. Everything was clean (including the men’s bathroom! . Staff was pleasant and attentive. Will definitely be back.
One of the more authentic Mexican tasting restaurants in Knoxville. The drinks and tacos are solid. The only place that I'll order tacos de lengua from because they make them just right with a dash of spicy salsa.
The food surprised us here. It was very good and had their own flare to traditional dishes. Salsa was good and had a bit of heat to it. Staff were friendly and the restaurant clean.
The food was good. My friends mentioned they put flowers on your plate but we didn’t get any.The queso is pretty tiny cups rather than a boat or bowl like a few other restaurants we have been to.The service is all right. My water never got refilled even though I drank it all pretty early on. I was tempted to drink other people’s water but that would have been a little awkward so I just waited till I got home.My husband and I split the Cataleyna Cantina fajitas. The meat was good, especially the meat on top. There isn’t much cheese (just a tiny amount of cheese sprinkled on the beans) so you have to ask for it if you want cheese on your fajitas. The restaurant is a little narrow but has a nice ambiance to it.Overall I would say the food may be a five but they don’t really come back to see you so the service was a little subpar.
