Pitorro - West Haven

So excited, Exactly what West Haven needed. Finally Puerto Rican Food, and at that delicious, Had the Mofongo with shrimp to die for. The owners are amazing, I met them at my line of work recently moved to West Haven am super delighted to have found this GEM

I never write reviews but I knew I was going to write this one....First let me say about how clean this place is! Next, the owners make you feel like 'familia '..the waitress was fabulous and lastly the food was the best ever Puerto Rican food I ever had out...I been to many places that I will not ever go back to but this place is 'down right delicious '...You will not be disappointed!!!

Pitorro was recommended by my hair stylist. As I was leaving her, I told her I was so hungry but didn't want to go home to cook..(Don't judge..lol) I stopped in for take out...walked in within SECONDS the music grabbed me. There were no patrons at the time...BUT I knew w/Latin Rhythms Aroma of mi Ilsa ...this was IT . I BARELY got in my door b4 i was pickin at the pernil, made it in the house..served myself arroz con gandules, pernil y 1 pastel. WOW, was like mami made me dinner! I'll be honest, I no longer cook with salt, so i DEFIANTLY FELT THAT....Burt I will DEFINITELY BE BACK DINE IN Gracias

2/17/18 garnelen mofongo was delicious and the alcapurias were the best I had in years. I will order from here.
