Mcladden's - West Hartford

This was my first visit, and I was really impressed. The restaurant is located in a trendy area of the city filled with jewelry stores, which might not be the best setting for a romantic date night. However, any place that has a jug in the men's room gets a thumbs up from me! They offer a great selection of craft beers, not just IPAs. The food was excellent as well. I would definitely return in a heartbeat. Just a heads up, parking can be tricky during peak hours, so it’s wise to plan ahead.

This is a spacious pub offering over 50 beers on the menu, along with delicious food—especially the outstanding chili. A big thank you to our waitress (whose name I've unfortunately forgotten, but she will likely remember us) for helping us execute our surprise plan for a dear friend.

The atmosphere was lively and vibrant. The beer selection was decent, though not exceptional. While the wine by the glass was somewhat limited, there were plenty of bottle options available. My rating doesn’t take the food into account since my wife and I are vegan and didn’t eat there, but we knew that going in. I was mostly there to enjoy some drinks anyway.

Large beverage selection and quite solid food options (if you get a table that is). It is a contrasting experience when you go on a busy weekend or a regular weekday. I prefer the less crowded times when you can get the waitress or bartender attention more often than once an hour.

Awesome little place in Hartford! The service was fast and friendly and the food was amazing. I got a thanksgiving stuffed sweet potato, which is something I haven't seen anywhere else, and it was delicious. Appetizers and drinks were great too. Most certainly someplace I'll end up at again if I am in the area.
