The Longest Yard - West Des Moines

I discovered this place only a few months before they were forced to close (change of the property) (July 2022), but I will miss it. Fun area with great food and service! I hope the owners will open a place somewhere else!

Visiting when I was there had counted three days to close it doors for good. Great food.

Big hole in the wall atmosphere, too bad they close their doors in about ten days. Beautiful location in historic Valley Junction...good drinks prices, good bar food, just don't update your frits to a house salad (mediocre lettuce and croutons with cheese shouldn't be a house salad, but everyone has their own opinion)... all in all, go there before it no longer!

Cool bar with great food and great service! Chris was great! Feels and attentive and makes a good mule.

Great pizza and beer! Better hurry they are closing soon.
