Starbucks - West Des Moines

I ordered a shaken espresso, which should be mixed thoroughly, but when I received it, the drink wasn’t mixed at all. I asked the staff to shake it for me, and to my surprise, they handed me a cup of coffee that was poorly mixed, claiming it was done properly. Honestly, I would have appreciated a staff discount if I had to mix my drink myself! I do appreciate the extra cup they eventually gave me to help mix it, though. Bless her heart!

Dieucks is in order. I left because my friend asked me to pick up her boarding house that came out today. her coffee is too expensive and too strong. they kill the little young, I prefer local coffee shops. they are more friendly and personal. I don't get the cult behind the diets. Oh, well, to each one their own. happy birthday!

The drink was way too hot, and it burned my hand. They didn't even provide coasters to prevent that from happening. I won't return until they hire more competent staff.

These ladies are great. they know me and I'm not often there, they work efficiently and deliver what I'm ordering. I always type extra because they make such a good job and work hard.

Very conveniently located inside HyVee, near the west entrance. We like to get coffee on our way in to grocery shop and drink coffee all the while.
