Des moines has a handful cupcake places with vegan options to choose, but scratch is the only one that really is outside of simple chocolate or simple vanilla cake ventures. flavors are much more unique as German chocolate, mocha, s’mores, mandel, etc. they were all delicious. a friend special ordered a few dozen s’mores cupcakes once for a camping trip and they were a big hit among vegan and non-vegans alike.

A friend special ordered a few dozen s 'mores cupcakes once for a camping trip and they were a huge hit among vegans and non-vegans alike.

These cupcakes are incredible! Although they are a bit expensive and there are not many specials available, they could improve by adding some decorations to make them more visually appealing. The atmosphere inside could also be made cozier, even though the business is small.

I wouls give 10 stars, but it's just 5th Best Cupcakes EVER.

I tried to find the right words... I didn't love it, but I don't hate it! The chocolate cupcake was good, not so sweet, the mint I couldn't taste. I'd go back for the peanut butter cupcakes. Ladies at the counter may want to be more friendly, they are not rude (explaining) they just need to be happier about that there are cupcakes are happy, they should smile. Like I said, I'd go back. I wonder if they had more change, I was there at 7:00, so I might try next time. Happy to buy Locol and support our communities.
