Ihop - West Columbia

It is not as friendly as it use to be. The waitresses don't engage with you as much as they use to. The menu does not have as many choices ut the food is good. Always love the French Toast! Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20

My family and I went out to eat at IHOP after church. Normally this IHOP in st andrews road is really good with great customer service. That was not the case yesterday. We sat down to be waited on for like 10 minutes. My husband had to call for someone to come take our order. It was a bunch of employees sitting down playing and laughing with each other at a booth beside us. The guy that was working in that section acted as if he didn't want to service us. So they sent someone else to be our server. Her name was Skylar she was great. While eating we witnessed a lot of horse playing going on, the employees was arguing with each other and they was playing in each other hair (gross) I didn't witness anymore wearing gloves or washing their hands after messing around in each other hair. We were so tempted to leave but our server was really good and professional. There was two occasions where the staff was playing and running in the restaurant. (Well that's not safe). There was a gut sitting across from us he also witnessed this and he just shooked his head in disbelief. It was super cold in there. When we was getting g ready to leave there was no on there to check us out. We child have easily skipped out on the check but were not like that. finally a young man came to check us out we was nice. That experience was unpleasant and we have always eating at this location and never had a bad experience until now since it's under new management. I believe they are all family and it's too much arguing and playing round going on especially in front of paying customers. Not cool at all very unprofessional they have to do better.

I’ve been to alot of different IHOP restaurants. This one on 813 St Andrews RD hasn’t been disappointing! Sure you have the typical busy hours during Sunday’s after church but for the most part I get in with ease. I never had problem with customer and the food is usually always on point. Ok this happened today on Oct 12TH I ordered a breakfast hash browns 2eggs bacon and a biscuit first of all something was wrong with the computer it took him over 5 mins or longer to see what the problem was so he just went on and wrote the order on a piece of paper and took it back there in the meantime he comes back up to the counter talking to a waitress took his finger and was wiping his eye with his bare finger no tissue or nothing did not wash his hands use sanitizer or nothing just plain nasty and then he would be the one to hand me my food will not order from there again and that little bit of hash browns and eggs was nothing

We were early to meet our 3rd person, and the parking lot seemed very full, so we went in to put our name on the waiting list and, surprisingly there were plenty of tables so we were seated immediately, before our third person arrived. The waitress was extremely pleasant and helpful, got our drinks, and checked back periodically while we were waiting. The food was excellent and we truly enjoyed the entire experience!
