Tochi - West Bend

I was nervous about Sheboygan ramen but boy was I wrong. I've had ramen all over the U.S. and this is some of the best, most flavorful ramen I've ever had. The beef mazeman and the Butter corn are must haves. In addition to amazing food, the owners are Wonderful jewels. We had a great time conversing with them.

Hi! I went there this past week and was super excited to try a new place in the area. Been hearing great comments and feedback Tochi. When I arrived an employee was so kind and professional and was very polite. The staff seated us on the bar area and while we were looking at the menu the owners? Maybe? Not sure we 're serving and talking to us throughout our experience there. To start off I noticed there was pepper paste and politely asked if I could try it in a dish. Love gochujung, especially if it 's homemade! The owner kept asking questions and seemed a little frustrated that I wanted to simply try it. My household eats a lot of Korean and Asian food in general. They did kindly end up getting a small plate for me of the paste. The brat dumplings were ok.. they were in a broth when served and the wrapping was very thin and was breaking off of the dumpling, so most of the dumplings were just the brat... do not recommend! My ramen was very yummy!! However in our house I make ramen fried and that 's how we grew up. I was eating it on the plate mixing with spice and the other owner seemed a bit angry on how I was eating my food. What 's wrong with the broth? (Nothing wrong with the broth, it was excellent!! however when I explained I usually try my ramen, she walked away pouty! The other owner serving us was very goofy and fun, however he made it very clear (in a joking manner he did not like me. Jokingly called me an a**hole. I 'm sorry but business owners, any employee anywhere should not be saying that to their customers and even to their customers. Even if it 's jokingly. Once again the food and ambiance was very great and amazing. However the owners just simply made the experience a little rough while trying to enjoy the food. Oops! Also forgot to include, most of their beverages were out of stock. Felt like I was on the Gordon Ramsey tv show where most of the menu items available on the menu simply were not available. Had lots of limited options..

Tochi is so amazing we even named our cat Tochi. We have been coming for years and it's our family favorite. Unfortunately not as often as we used to since they moved to Sheboygan. There is no ramen quite like Tochi.

Amazing ramen! Very flavorful broth, fresh ingredients, great staff. Worth the drive from Milwaukee. We will be back!

Visiting from Manhattan, late on a rainy Tuesday night in late November, jonesing for some ramen but unsure what I'd find in the land of brats cheese... whoa! This is the real deal! Greg loves his craft, and you can taste the dedication that goes into this food. Pork buns, brat wontons, and a perfect bowl of ramen made this an unexpected highlight of my trip. I'll be back, and I'll try everything on the menu. Thank you. Tampopo lives. Rock on!
