The Bakehouse - Welwyn Hatfield

Christmas Day dinner food was very good with good customer service from our waiting team member. Our only criticism was where we were sat. 5 adults given a table in the children’s play area, there was no atmosphere this end of the pub, no Christmas decorations or music to be heard. We all felt a bit flat. There were some crackers on the table but that was it. The rest of the pub felt quite lively walking through but we were tucked out of the way.

I love coming to this my local pub great location great venue came on Friday before Christmas for Christmas lunch pre booked lovely decorated table and well looked after by the lovely staff food was fantastic could not fault the meal in any way the festive burger was amazing. The place was busy and the staff were working really hard very well done

Poor overall Service at bar was friendly quick Food poor chicken was cold, salad old, unwashed gritty Cleanliness awful I asked for table to be wiped floor swept. Table was wiped, floor wasn’t swept. Old food on floor and when we went to leave there was a pair of old socks Uber seat Ladies toilet unclean seats tampax wrappers left on sinks Not returning

I love visiting this pub in my neighborhood. The staff is always friendly, the food has always been really good, and the pub is very clean with a great atmosphere. My only issue is the limited selection of real ales. Unfortunately, when we visited today, there was nothing on tap. Despite this, we enjoyed a very nice raspberry gin.

I rated our lunch 5 out of 5 because it was hot, delicious and a great service from staff. Just fantastic!! nothing was too difficult as my friend was in a wheelchair the staff were so helpful. We will be back with our other friends. Thank you x
