Harrier - Welwyn Hatfield

I was pleasantly surprised by this pub, I had never been in before but always thought it was a dive I was wrong! It was a very clean pub, nice decor and friendly staff.

A Friendly bar, with a great roast on a Sunday. I enjoyed the whole experience, the locals are full of character.

The manager is brill and the food is decent . Turns into another world at night and the locals are extremely clicky . Try to keep your head down . actally i met billy joe sanders in this pub as it is his local .... what a pick

I had been staying at the Hatfield Oak and was unhappy with the food and atmosphere there, so ventured out the Harrier to see if it was any better and it was. This is not a glamorous, trendy pub,but is a decent local for people on the estate it serves. Tried some of the local beer, which was pretty good. Ordered a sweet potato curry which was very tasty and well presented

We popped into our local on Mothers day for lunch. Carvery served 12 till 1600. We were super impressed,with the great food , every element cooked to sublime perfection by Pete. As always Diana and her team create a warm relaxing vibe in the bar. So if you want a great value for money lunch ! Look no further. Will be back soon.
