Sonic Drive-in - Weaverville

We encountered a small issue with our order, but they were very kind and resolved it quickly. I really enjoy dining there.

Eventually, I received my two drinks, but I had to ask the gentleman in front of me to pull forward a bit so that I could exit the line. He expressed his frustration to the staff, which I really disliked seeing happen to them. To the owner, I urge you to come in during a shift if you don't already and observe the situation yourself. It's crucial to support your workers and show them you appreciate their hard work. It's frustrating to witness those who aren't engaged at work, as it negatively affects both the staff who are working hard and the overall customer experience. Be prepared to wait a little bit, but at least my drink order was correct.

I wasn't happy with the food or service on this visit. The restaurant was from the article my wife originally wanted, but we understand that not always can be helped. When the car hop brought our food, I told him that one of our drinks should be a big one and he said I bought it as a medium and did not make a deal to repair it or ask if he wanted to change it. The foot long cone was subpar and tasted as if the hot dog had been on the warmer for several hours.

I prefer to order on the app, prior to arriving, to save time. Unfortunately, the menu availability on the app is seldomly accurate or updated (especially the featured Cake Batter shakes and Slushes). So, I'll order something different, SETTLING for something else. Upon arriving, I'll ask the staff when the featured items will be returning. They have on several occasions, explained they ran out of the items yesterday removed them off the app but currently have items and will gladly fill my request but at FULL price NOT at the 1/2 price shown on the APP. Shady!!! This seems like a bait switch trick, like at a car lot. Please, update your app take care of your customers..... Remember, A happy customer may tell a few people about a great customer experience, but an unhappy customer will tell EVERYONE about a bad experience.

Love Sonic! The staff is always friendly. Almost always get the orders perfect. Only one time did they mess up my order, but I pushed the bottom and they came out and fixed it immediately and we're so kind about it. Ocean Water is my weakness so you should for sure try one if you haven't. Also, very quick with the orders, never takes them too long to get your food out at all. Just a heads up, there's only pull in parking to order from you car on the one side. Not a big deal or issue, it's just some have it on both sides, so don't make the same mistake I made or you're just gonna be circling around to right where you were lol. Great place to eat. Amazing selection, as with all Sonic restaurants. Cheese sticks are always across the board sweet and never gooey like I like when you take a bite, so skip those if you truly like cheese sticks and get the from a pizza place. They aren't bad, but they sure aren't great either.
