Felt like we were and inconvenience. Waiter seemed as though he had better things to do and he was irritated by us being there.Popadums and pickles given with a side order of ANTS! We complained but he didn’t seem bothered . We left. Would not recommend

Nobody in the place when we arrived, same when we left. We were placed on a table in the entrance lobby, a single fan heater plugged in blew mostly cold air at us, cold and cheerless all night, no other heating on for a cold febuary evening. Popadoms were good, but mains pretty average. One of our party had to send back his mixed grill because it was cold. After mains were cleared away there was no offer of deserts or any other drinks or coffee. Paid bill and left by 10pm. I hate giving bad reviews but this was a depressing experience, (particularly for me as I had booked on behalf of our party). Maybe we just picked a bad night, but this didnt come anywhere near the experience I would expect from an indian restaurant.

We’ve eaten at the Rajdutt a number of times and applaud the face-lift that it has recently undergone. The dark walls and vibrant wallpaper has transformed this previously cheerless restaurant and now the decor really befits the exotic cuisine. Our most recent meal was superb with each different dish offering a totally unique spice/flavour and no excess of oil. Instead of a typical vegetable curry, I opted for three bhajis; my Brinjal Bhaji, Sag Ponir and Bombay Potato worked particularly well together, with some delicious light Naan bread instead of rice. The whole experience really was a pleasure.

Used to use them a lot and there curries are good but their prices have gone up massively and now we get our takeaways elsewhere. Nearly £80 for a takeaway for 4 people is ridiculous We are at a restaurant recently that’s served chicken Korma at £6 which in our opinion was better compared to Rajduts £8.50? Both were offering 10% discount on collection. Such a shame

Good food and hospitality but it is average nothing to write home about really..very dodgy tv on the wall playing rather strange tune
