Contribuiți la feedbackDelicious eating, wonderful sweet staff, great portions, and what is quite likely the cleanest and best smelling bathroom. I know the last part is weird, but I know if the bathroom is so impeccable. so is the kitchen. the prices were very fair. they have great options of full, half-sized, lunch and children's dinner. I did not go with my family of 4 eating seafood, and this is amazing in her herself. definitiw with a stop
Called ahead to be sure they had food my elderly mother could eat (she has a swallowing disorder), we 're from a long ways away. Get there. Very few in the restaurant when we 're seated, we 're told they 're all out ... I was a mile away when I called. THEN the waiter bright the tea... we explained we were leaving, that he wouldn 't charge us for the tea, um, no you won 't, we didn 't touch them. Would not recommend at all.
Stopped by for a quick diner before visiting Waterrock Knob for a sunset ~20 minutes deive from here). Delighted by both the service and the value! Forgot to take photos of food but the sunset was great too!
We sampled several items from the menu raw oysters, sea food chowder, fried trout, and a lobster roll. All were excellent! Service was friendly, and prices reasonable.
On vacation and camping with our 5th wheel in Maggie Valley NC. Decided seafood sounded good so off we went to dine at Maggies Seafood Galley in Waynesville. It being Sunday we arrived at 4:30 and it was so nice not to have to wait. Got seated and our server was the nicest young woman name Veronica, she was just the best and took great care of us. Told us the specials, answered our questions and took our drink order. I ordered the Hawiian Shrimp, clam chowder soup and sweet potato casserole. Soup was delicious and full of clams, so good! When our dinners came I was sort of taken back!!! My plate had 10 big beer battered and coated in coconut Shrimp with orange marmalade sauce on the side. Sweet potato casserole was so good. The shrimp were totally over the top mouth watering yummy dipped in that sauce. I think these were very close to being the best I've had. Hub had Shrimp and Oysters combo with the chowder soup and red beans and rice and he enjoyed his dinner very much. He chowed down on my Coconut Shrimp too. We were stuffed and passed on dessert, lots of choices, peanut butter pie, key lime pie, Chocolate tower cake, on and on. Prices were very reasonable and comparable to other restaurants. Highly recommend Maggie's, come here to see what your missing out on!! A+. Bob and Debbie Michigan PS Thank you Veronica, great job!
