Rusty Rooster - Waverly

We recently took a trip to waverly Tennesse to look for retirement property and we were told that we had to go to Sams Diner before we left back home to Florida. What a great place this is....everyone is like family there (they all know eachother), the waitresses were extremely friendly and you can feel the love of everyone in this tiny hole in the wall GEM! The food was great and the coffee was amazing !! My husband and I will continue to come back here evertime we return to Waverly. This is a must visit eatery especially since it was so highly rated of the locals...AND THEY KNOW!

Amazing breakfast with the locals. Grits, BLT or Philly Cheesesteak are all excellent choice for breakfast. Small town feel, big good flavor.

Service was excellent, food was very tasty and well prepared. Will return and would recommend to others.

This place is great for home style cooking!! Especially the waitresses hospitality for this small town. Ask for jasmine !!

Everyone is always so nice! The place has a very homey atmosphere, and I got the peanut butter pie for the first time today and it is to DIE for. Top 5 best pies I’ve ever eaten.
