What a lovely genuine old pub, the real thing! I ordered a jacket potato with prawns marie rose, and it was fabulous! The potato skin delectably crispy, the serving very generous, and two salads accompanying equally delicious. The servers were charming. Nice traditional pub. Good food and atmosphere. Friendly staff and the food came quickly. I recommend their burgers. Vegetarian options: I had a tasty vegetarian burger, which came with coleslaw, salad and thickly cut chips. Small bar, but quick and attentive service. I went around Halloween and every square inch of the place was decorated with various spooky stuff it was an incredible display! Best of all was the selection of beers and ciders, which was very wide and I shall be back later this week to try out more! Price per person: £1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
