The new menu is fantastic, went with family and had the Wagyu steak.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant last Saturday and I have given it a 5-star rating. The staff were very welcoming, the food and wine were pretty good, and we didn't have anything negative to say about our first visit under the new management. We have been occasional patrons of this restaurant for many years, but in the last 10 years, we have not enjoyed our dining experience here. However, with the new management of the 'Hill Top cafe', we are pleased that we decided to give it another try and we will definitely be returning.

This is by far the best pub food we have had in a long time! The service was excellent, the menu was lovely, and the atmosphere was great. Eat well, eat local, eat seasonally! I highly recommend it.

Met with friends to take the dogs on a walk, and then Sunday lunch. Great garden for a bit of alfresco. Didn't stay there, but had some really cool looking accommodation across the road (very quiet location). Food good, and staff very helpful.
