Love this place! Awesome food, with some really interesting supplements to your standard Mexican dishes (including Guilotas! The coffee was well balanced, just the right amount of cinnamon! Your consomé de camarón was AMAZING it is a certain must try. Portions were huge and service was great. The seating area is somewhat outdated, but I think it adds to the charm of the place. Definitely a diamond in the rough.

This place is a jewel! The quality of the service of Vic and his staff is amazing. Hands down the best tacos in Lake County, IL! I recommend the pastor Tacos with Piña and a Topo Chico, you will not be disappointed!

Only consistently good. Very large portions and everything is very seasoned. This is one of my goals for comfort food in the area and I was never disappointed. As you can see from my pictures, I won't eat tonight. Thanks again and the good work I will see soon.

Had the California Burrito. It was good. I brought a little class to eat here. The food was great and well appreciated.

Fast service and amazing authentic food. I took it all the way back to Kenosha and it was still hot and delicious.
