Nacoz Tacos - Waukegan

This restaurant earns every star. Consistent with each visit, and I say that in the best sense, the food quality is admirable and inviting. Over the weekend I ordered a Torta de Milanesa (Breaded Steak), which was well cooked, tasty, and overall delicious. On other visits, I would often get their Burrito de Asada (Steak Burrito), and they're what I consider one of the best. One last recommendation I'd make is their horchata (rice water), which is very sweet but not overpowering. Overall excellent service, outstanding quality, I would highly recommend anyone try out their food. Although, I honestly don't go out of my way to hand out a five-star rated review. Still, I have become a regular to Tacos El Norte for a reason, especially with how the authenticity of each dish becomes remarkable.

Horrible experience they act like they didn't want to serve me when I walked through the door, the lady with the glasses was rushing me the entire time I was there and stared at me while I was eating my food I will not come back here ever!

Great food, calm atmosphere, very good prices. Some days are a bit more chaotic, but still a great spot!

IMO the quality seems to have decreased while the prices have increased. I'd be okay with paying more if the taste and quality was still where it was 10 years ago. Thr place was empty on a Tuesday at 7pm. The third star us for the friendly service and cleanliness of this location. I used to be a regular...now an infrequent visitor. Maybe I need to go back to the original mundelein location and compare.
