Amazing Food And Good Service. I recommend phone in your order. It takes 20-25 minutes to het your meal. Its worth it.

This is the place to go if your looking for jerk food in the Waukegan or north Chicago area. Only thing is most of the time they don’t answer the phone so you can’t really order ahead of time if that’s what your trying to do so you have to JUST GO IN AND ORDER.

I used to be a regular customer when they were in Waukegan, despite finding their hours inconvenient. However, after they moved to North Chicago, I decided to give them another chance—what a mistake! I drove all the way from Grayslake, only to find the door locked an hour before closing time. When I explained that I had already placed my order, the staff member acknowledged it but said it hadn't been paid for yet. I pointed out that I had spent time and gas getting there, only to find them closing early. This kind of service is why some black-owned businesses get a bad reputation. It was unprofessional and disappointing. I won't be returning.

Just don't go here. don't waste your time. they have the potential to be a good restaurant, but they are inconsistent and never open. classic case of: just because they can cook does not mean that they should open a restaurant. but if they catch them at a good day, it's quite good to eat. but much luck with it.
