Puna Chocolate Company - Wauconda

I absolutely love that this charming little chocolate shop has come to our small town. While I don’t visit often, it’s my go-to spot for special gifts, especially when I’m unsure of what to get someone. Who doesn’t enjoy fantastic chocolate? The chocolate here is not just delicious; the flavors are often remarkably unique—my personal favorite is the ginger green apple milk chocolate. They also serve a fantastic hot chocolate at their drinks bar. Although their hours can be a bit inconsistent, I’m always happy to support this local business when I have the chance.

The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful. I'm a big fan of their chocolates, turtles, and hot cocoa. They even grow their own cocoa beans to create their chocolate for their homemade confections. Everything is made in the USA. I highly recommend visiting this shop!
