The Railway Arms - Watford

We came across the Railway arms on a cycle and decided to stop for a pint . Ended up having an absolutely fantastic time having banter with the landlady and the regulars ! She even gave us pizza ! Would recommend it and can’t wait to visit again!

An old world charm cozy place to drop in for a drink or two. Sit inside and watch sports on TV or enjoy the patio outside. Do not expect food, other than snacks, chips and peanuts. The bar tender was very friendly and helpful. Cannot say the same of patrons! Located very conveniently across the road from Bushey Rail Station. A good place to relax and unwind.

I visited the Railway Arms on a Saturday evening. It was busy with local folk who enjoyed the soccer match. My host was Dave. He was great host if at times a little overwhelming. Overall it is a fine establishment and of course the fois gras is incredible. I’d also recommend the beef Monster Munch!

Friendly welcome whenever I have visited, greeted with a smile, friendly people, nice atmosphere, I have visited for a quiet drink, a football game and a night out was never disappointed. I advise to give it a try you will not be disappointed.

Great little pub visited quite late one night.. Very friendly staff and great landlady. Just wish I had got there earlier and had spent more time. Hope to go back sometime soon!
