Amazing food, service and atmosphere, we really had lovely time there and will definitely be back soon!

Elegant restaurant in kensington. the occasion was dinner with my wife in london. we were greeted politely and showed a very nice table. Unfortunately we asked to be moved as it was next to a loud, badly dressed group of 5 Americans who probably thought that any restaurant could be mcdonalds. they immediately accommodated us. the service and the eating were above average from beginning to end. knowledgeable, professional staff, and we thank them for making our experience so pleasant.

I arrived at the restaurant and was told to wait while the maitre’d someone else showed their table. shortly after, a white couple went in and a waitress a young white woman with long dark hair appeared quickly in a ponytail, to take her moms and offer them a table that was interesting as I was made to wait. I had hoped that the white couple would have been able to say that they didn't want to jump the waiting line, but if they didn't, I told the waitress that I was there first. She claimed that she thought I was served by her colleague. which colleague? no other employee was present. I stood by the door and waited for someone to come and bring me to the table I booked. I was shown in the back of the dining room on a table so that no one would look from the street into a window and see me a woman of color in her operation. when the waitress who started to support the white couple that came after me at the door, came to my table in the back dining room, I told her I was thinking about how I had been treated before and there was a vague indication of the fusion at the door. I should have left. they didn't want me there. I don't regret leaving.
