Mr Sushi - Waterloo

We discovered this restaurant while browsing the Asian grocery store in the same plaza. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by our experience! The staff seated us and even provided a highchair for our 10-month-old after disinfecting it with wipes, which we appreciated. My husband, who is Japanese Canadian, is very particular about his sushi and was impressed by the fresh and perfectly prepared sushi at this restaurant. I ordered a bento meal which included a variety of sushi, as well as delicious pork katsu that was tender and crunchy without being greasy. The salad and miso soup were also excellent in flavor. I couldn't resist trying the spicy tuna rolls, which did not disappoint. In addition to sushi, this Korean/Japanese restaurant also offers Korean dishes on the menu. Overall, we enjoyed the fantastic sushi and friendly service, and will definitely be returning in the future.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was clean, bright, and well-designed. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the bulgogi bento box that I ordered. It came with bulgogi, rice, a small salad with sesame dressing, dumplings, and sushi rolls, all for a reasonable price of $10.99. Even though I don't enjoy raw fish, the staff was accommodating and provided me with vegetarian rolls instead. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.

I really enjoy this restaurant more than the all-you-can-eat places that seem to be everywhere now. The Miso soup is delicious and I especially love the dynamite and spicy tuna rolls. The takeout service is quick and affordable, with prices ranging from $3 to $7 for 4-8 piece rolls.

Ordered the vegetarian bento box for takeoutEverything was good, except for the tofu teriyaki.
