Bartho - Waterloo

Personally, I am very difficult for meat and not too fried for fries, but there I say hat for its tab and matches, all prepared with care by the boss who doesn't hesitate to juggle between his kitchen and the room! the setting is pleasant and the terrace in the back very cosi!

In my opinion, this restaurant is clearly one of the best in Waterloo (along with Wataro, Mouth to Ear, Casa Gallo, and perhaps the Opera which is a bit overrated). I must also thank Yves, even though this restaurant is just outside of Waterloo. The common factor among these restaurants is their dedication to quality ingredients, perfect cooking, and delicious dishes without any shortcuts. We are fortunate to be far removed from the gimmicky restaurants that may appeal to the masses in Waterloo. Of course, this restaurant may not be for everyone, but I recommend looking beyond the initial impression and getting to know Monika (the owner) and Christian (the chef). Once you see past their initial brusqueness, you will find them to be charming and passionate about their profession. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!

I went to the restaurant on a friend's advice. the frame is very pleasant. But there's something else in the kitchen! I got out of extreme disappointment: the requested tab served for my friend. on my side, canard too dry. and the nail of the evening: the creme of catalane served cold an address or certainly I will not return.

The restaurant is very pleasant with a beautiful terrace and good service. However, it is quite expensive; for example, a pizza costs 22€. Despite the high price, the food is delicious.

If you visit, I recommend looking beyond the initial impression and getting to know Monika (the manager) and Christian (the chef). Once you see past their reserved demeanor, you'll find them to be engaging, charming, and passionate about their craft. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
