Hindsight Bbq - Waterbury

Excellent and tasty bbq pulled pork sandwiches. Reminded me of authentic texas bbq. I would recommend. Worth the trip bit check the menu as it is a little pricey but to be expected with smoked meats.

The site is fantastic. Lots of nice, shaded, outdoor seating with the option of also eating indoors. The staff were all very friendly. The downside is the cost. The prices are outrageous. The food doesn?t come with sides, so for 3 entrees, 3 sides, and3 beers plus tip, it ran me about $120. They ?served? our burnt ends in the tray, which would have been acceptable if we all hadour own trays, but everyone?s food came out on one so that was a huge inconvenience. I was overcharged for drinks but didn?tbother to question it two $10 beers and a $10 frozen drink came out to $40 something dollars. 2 *small* portions of burntends, a pulled pork sandwich, 1 side of fries, and 2 sides of coleslaw came out to over $70. Having said all of that, everythingwas delicious. I love good BBQ, and I love supporting local businesses, but unfortunately with these prices we will not begoing back.

The food was great and reminded me of the barbecue I had in the south. Prices for bbq are always a little pricier but these are reasonable. A small little bar outside was nice with lots of picnic tables you still order your food inside. They have a greatbeer selection. Potato salad was my favorite side.

Absolutely amazing, start to finish. From walking in the door, the whole staff was fantastic! This means a lot to me and shows that they enjoy being there and are well taken care of. Friendly, smiling, helpful A+ on the staff, truly. Of course the mostimportant thing the food. We eat A Lot of BBQ and make it a point to find and try local places anywhere we go. We all agreedthat everything we had there was incredible. Wings, ribs, brisket, pulled pork, Mac and cheese, a steak burrito, all the sides.Everything was delicious. Great smoke flavor, bark on the brisket was perfect. Really, we all couldn?t believe we haven?t beenhere before and it?s now for sure in our top 5 bbq spots, and alt the top of that list even. Great job all around Hindsight!We?ll be back!!

Smoked chicken quesadilla was great. Burnt ends cauliflower was really great. The brisket and ribs we?re on the dry side.
