Via Al Paraiso - Waterbury

This is one of my favorite places to get my Caribbean cravings quenched. They have so many choices, and the food is consistently replenished due to the crowd ratio in and out. When I go there for lunch, I sometimes see remnants of breakfast put to the side. I think they serve breakfast) 9/8/23-1:30- Dominican food /The food is delicious but keep in mind, it can sometimes be over salted. When I say over salted I mean over salted. Also, go with someone that speaks Spanish, because the women I noticed fill your plate according to whether or not you can communicate with them in Spanish. My Spanish is somewhat limited, but I know how to tell them what I want in Spanish and it’s usually the same thing Every time unless I’m getting food for the family. I bought small container of fried chicken, small soup, and small 1cup) rice 15.00. I also noticed that the women at the register that take your money are very rude with no personality. But, I don’t really care anymore, I guess they don’t need large tips, because I will tip the minimum, but if you go a little bit out of your way to be nice . 20%.

The restaurant is nice but the service sucked. The server is naive and is very under educated in working as a server or definitely not good in taking someone's order. The food was cold. And the mofongo was a half of a tea cup size..what a shame.. The pricing was a little to expensive for what they serve and the food being cold. I will not go again. Went in here with my small puppy, workers seen me with my dog and proceeded to not say anything. Once I ordered my food and reached the register she proceeded to tell me I couldn’t pay for my food there was no dog dogs so I simply asked her if I can just pay for my food that was already plated and she told me no I just found it very rude and disrespectful how you running a business can’t even speak proper english. Service: 1

Food was cold when told was cold they heated my food in the microwave. Floor was dirty. They don't clean when customers leave napkins and food all on the ground. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
