Pizza Hut - Washington DC

I’ve never seen a pizza shop quite like this one. It seems to cater mainly to takeout and delivery, as there are no tables or chairs for customers to sit and wait for their orders to be prepared. The building itself has a fortress-like appearance, reminiscent of those check-cashing places you sometimes see. The counter is surrounded by bullet-proof glass, which I assume is a necessity in this part of town. I placed my order and waited about ten minutes, passing the time on my phone. Soon enough, my breadsticks were ready, and I was quickly on my way out the door and into my car. I’ve already tried a couple of the breadsticks, and they taste great!

Overall, my experience was quite pleasant. I placed my order directly on the Pizza Hut website, and the delivery was handled by DoorDash, which I assume they’ve outsourced now. Thankfully, the delivery was on time. The pizza was as expected—decent, but not exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the new Spicy Lovers Hawaiian pizza. However, I would recommend avoiding the thin crust; it’s more like eating a cracker. They often have various coupons and deals available, so it’s worth checking if you’re open to flexibility with your order.

I ordered a Super Supreme pizza and specifically requested in the notes that it should be made without green peppers due to my wife's allergy. Unfortunately, the pizza arrived with green peppers. That was disappointing. However, everything else was quite good.

Really friendly staff and very fast completion of our order! 4 stars just because of the price. It’s just Pizza Hut so it’s not gourmet or anything, but it was like $40 for a pizza and like 6 wings LOL. Not the store’s fault but it’s the reality.
