K- Burger - Washington DC

Tried the “original burger.” Two juicy patties, smash burger style, with a very garlicky sauce. I ordered medium rare and it came well done, but it was still delicious. Note well: the last item on the menu, the “crack egg burger,” is a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich with caramelized onions and cabbage and “crack mayo,” not a burger. I may give it a try next time.

K Burger replaced Far East Taco. It kind of felt like a dead of night bait and switch, but their food is good. I had the original burger and my husband got the K burger. My burger was really good and the fries were crisp and seasoned well. Pros: Good price, well cooked, good flavors. Good sauces, although there's nothing describing what's in the sauce. Cons: The menu has few healthy options, nothing vegan, nothing strictly vegetarian. The burger meat was a little chewy. Not a lot of veggies like FETG did. This is not surprising for a burger joint. They also don't have pickles, I found this odd for a burger place. I think they should also offer a single patty option. I would like to see a few more menu options, like sweet potato fries, or salads. Hopefully this will come in time.

Great sandwiches....the soy garlic fried chicken is excellent.

Nice place kinda small, but the food is great good bang for your buck.
