Golden China - Washington DC

I ordered from Golden China for the first time the delivery time was alright, but I was not happy with my overall order. I ordered the General Tao and the chicken pieces were a little crispy and I could not believe there were only 2 broccoli heads in the whole meal, are you serious!!!! I’m thinking I’ll have some broccoli to eat and here are 2 little heads that’s it. I also had an order of chicken wings as well and to my demise there were no napkins in the bag. I called the carryout in reference to this and the lady told me “THEY DON’T PUT NAPKINS IN DELIVERIES” are you serious. I couldn’t believe she said this and then had the nerve to tell me I should have napkins at home. Ok, I know I’m probably taking it over board but it’s principal and then for her to tell me I should have my own. Golden China only if I have no other options!!

My childhood carry out hasn 't changed, the food is still reasonably priced, fast and so good. The perfect comfort food. Don 't forget to order a side of D.C. 's specialty, mumbo sauce and a half&half!(lemonade ice tea mix (excuse the first pic, I ate most of the fries before even thinking of taking a picture

Been going here since before I could remember!! I came to DC when I was 2 and am now 16 and this is still one of my places ever! The owners are so kind and the food is great! I love it here and would always recommend their food!!

I've been eating here for years (5-8) and I've had one bad order. But they fixed it and gave me extra. They are great with customers and their food is always fresh and is made in a timely manner. If your ever uptown. Take that 5-10 minute ride and get yourself a sub or some wings. The mambo sauce is good compared to other carry outs. The young lady at the counter speaks English well and she is a delight to speak to. Prices are normal for a carry out in the city but the food is made well and is worth the money. Whenever I'm uptown this is the only carry out I eat from since Eddies turned into a bar.

I like this restaurant! They give high class food, their menu is varied, The chief cook in that spot is a real pro, I enjoy a lot eating all their food. The dishes are consistently of high qualtity, the attitude towards the visitors is efficient. I often eat in this place and I not even once was disappointed. I recommend it to all.
