Hotel Warrnambool

Fantastic friendly pub with great character and great eating and beer. this is one of the best pubs we were in Australia!

The meal was fantastic, with a diverse selection to choose from. The service was excellent, and they had a great variety of beer on tap. We enjoyed our drinks so much that we ended up staying for multiple meals and were very happy with our decision.

In warrnambool remained and needed somewhere to eat on a Monday night. While many restaurants were closed, they still had their bar area open, which had many tables and places to eat (they do not sit at the bar for a meal) the staff was friendly and very friendly. the food was very delicious. beautiful atmosphere with some traditional old pub vibes.

Service was great, but ordered the $41 scotch filet and it was not possible. I went over 3/4 on the plate, ate my men calamari instead. If you want a decent steak, don't go here. spoke to head waiter and he said that’s what you get. with scotch fillet.

Despite the restaurant being closed (due to Easter weekend) the bar still offered up some excellent dining options. Appreciated being able to get a half-serve of fish chips which were done to perfection. A solid option for a cheap and cheerful pub meal!
