We live in Carrying Place, which is 40 minutes away, and we just have to go there every week for breakfast. It starts off, with walking into the restaurant, and they already know to put the kettle on for our tea. Plus I get my tea in a proper cup and saucer(My Husband gets a mug). You can taste the freshness in the eggs, which is being delivered, from just down the road. The owners are super friendly, and you feel like you belong to the community. Go for a drive and you won't be disappointed. Come to Warkworth and enjoy the little town. And lots of little boutique stores.

Stumbled upon this gem and our GPS is programmed to take us back. Everything we had was as good (well, sorry Mom) BETTER than Mom makes. Along with the wonderful homecooked meal, came Nicole, the friendliest server ever. This cafe is family owned and operated with love. Start with the soup (3 choices), sample everything in between and finish off with a pecan butter tart or piece of pie. You might not want to leave!

Jeannine prides herself in out living many other restaurants in Warkworth since she and her family have been there for more than 20 years! The name of the restaurant tells it all. For the locals, the food is served with an extra serving of backtalk from Jeannine and her two daughters. If you are there more than twice, be prepared for a generous helping of her harmless backtalk. If you listen to the chatter closely, you will get the latest town gossip. Jeannine's is open at 7a.m. for breakfast and closes at 2 p.m. sharp. It is open in Friday evenings with two of her special offerings and she has been known to cook something special for a person with food allergies.
