Captain's Table - Norwood

I had a wonderful breakfast at a reasonable price in a charming small town. If you find yourself in the area, make sure to stop by for breakfast or, based on other reviews, try their fish and chips if it's not breakfast time.

We had such an awesome lunch date. I've been coming here since my son's age and it hasn't changed a bit! It's a welcoming, home cooked, friendly restaurant and it's still the normal prices it should be rather then paying the gross prices other restaurant's charge these days. As a none seafood eater, this is THE only place I will eat fish from. Their Halibut is perfect! A must go to place while passing through Hastings! : :

Small family owned fish and chip restaurant. Nothing fancy but excellent food and super attentive staff. There is usually a selection of homemade pies which will not disappoint (unless of course they are sold out which often happens because they are so good).

This place is a hidden gem. It may not look like much from the outside, but once you step in, you are greeted with a friendly welcome from staff who clearly love their job. The haddock was cooked perfectly, with a light, fluffy, and crispy batter. The steak sandwich was a bit small and expensive, but very tasty and flavorful. I highly recommend this place!

Fish and chips here are superb. And the coconut creme pie was heaven. I enjoy coming here when I am out of the city. Friendly staff and great community. This place really shines.
