New York Pizzeria - Walnut

I rarely write bad reviews, but I have no idea how people think this pizza is good. Some of the worst I ever had. Especially since I paid $25 for a 12 inch. Super thick crust, cheese is not good, no taste. Dominos or pizza hat is much better.

Special place for the Gen X living in this area. NYP is not about food, but about memories and years of satisfying food during growing up. This is a sacred place for walnut longliners. You can never let this place go.

Since 1994. Love this PIZZA. . hasn't changed anything except they no longer have the street fighter 2 arcade, but the quality when the pizza is exactly the same... PHENOMENAL?

A walnut stop. I'm always happy when I'm back in my hometown.

I?ve been going to this place since 1991, maybe earlier, but that?s my earliest recollection. Although that may lead some to believe I am biased, I am not, this is the closest thing to New York Pizza I have ever had, and I?ve had John?s Pizza in New York plenty of times, this is almost at that level. Everyone that I?ve told about this place has been greatly surprised at their authenticity to New York Style Pizza. No matter where I?ve lived in a California or out of state, I?ve always made my way back to the city of Walnut specifically for this place (Family too lol). Great pizza, you will not be disappointed.
