The Derby - Arcadia

Spun in the spur of the moment and found a jewel we will return to. Food, ambience and service were great!

We had a nice time and our waiter, Spence was a great reason! Very nice, attentive, but also gave us our room. Excellent food as always! Thank you.

We were early and sat after a short waiting period. Kelly was our server and took care of us patiently on all our questions. We had the bacon wrapped dates, wine and beer, beet salad, the slowly roasted pork speciality of the day, the Prix Fixe Prime Rib (with shrimp cocktail, baked potato and bread pudding dessert). My son wanted Baked Alaska and so he got it! Everything was fine and waited for a long time. Oh, I almost forgot the complementary garlic cheese toast. The first time here and not the last.

The bar's a little beaky. We ordered two happy hour drinks at Happy Hour prices and we drank at the bar until our table is ready. Uploaded for "ice cubes" and for "martini" plus loaded more for liqueur, was clearly a happy hour price on menu. More than twice. Very disappointing! Dinner and dining service EXCELLENT! Host EXCELLENT!!! Valet EXCELLENT.

Service was very good and food was served hot and was delicious.
