Tan Po Po Wallingford

I'm not one to typically leave reviews, but I couldn't resist sharing my experience here because it was truly exceptional. The sushi was out of this world, and the attention to detail in every bite left my taste buds in awe. I can't stop thinking about the deliciousness that graced my palate! However, what really stood out was the warm and genuine hospitality of the owner. Their dedication to making our dining experience memorable was truly heartwarming. I can't wait to return and savor more of their delectable sushi, all while basking in the owner's wonderful hospitality. It's an experience I won't soon forget.

Last time I ordered from here it was pretty good, I had no complaints... That was last year. I ordered through DoorDash the other night and was actually disappointed. The sushi itself (the rice) wasn't tight, or seasoned well and kept falling apart. It was also too large for the portions of fish. Anyone who eats this cuisine often.. knows the rice makes it breaks it. Not sure if I'll try again.

I ordered this party size sashimi for family dinner. The sashimi is very fresh and tasty. The owner is kind and friendly. Highly recommend for this Japanese restaurant! ??

I got take out. TWO mango avacado rolls. And two spicy mayos. Came to 13.77!!!!! I got two INDIVIDUAL rolls (3-4 each) and two tiny spicy mayos. Will attach pic if I can. This even in today's prices, should be $6 tops for all!
