Jade Express - Waldoboro

Very good food, never a complaint from me or the family!

We are locals and eat here frequently always good and I am a food snob

Although I haven't dined at many other Chinese restaurants, I really enjoy the food here! The dishes are full of flavor, and the staff is consistently friendly and efficient. They've never made a mistake with our orders, even after several visits. I'm not fond of the other Chinese restaurants in the area, and I believe this one is the best. While it may not be authentic Chinese cuisine, I can't really tell the difference. If you're in the area and craving some good Chinese food, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Each time I dine at this restaurant, I end up feeling unwell. The last time I visited, the chicken was undercooked, and the shrimp wasn't deveined.

I've never been a big fan of this restaurant, though I've ordered from there several times out of necessity. I often end up getting food that I don't really enjoy because there aren't many options nearby. Jade Express tends to serve very greasy rice. I typically order the PuPu for 2 special, but here's the catch: if you don't specify "special," you won't get any rice! It's definitely a way to charge more. If you're passing through Waldoboro and craving Chinese food, I recommend continuing on toward Damariscotta for Racha (which is actually Thai) or heading to Camden for Tomi (Japanese-Thai). That's my recommendation.
