Wine Beer 101 Gastropub - Wake Forest

Loved the lay out of the building that leads to their main restaurant next door which is unbelievable!! Would highly recommend checking this place out with friends or even a personal day!

Service was great. Food not so much. Burgers were not cooked to temp. Carolina reaper chicken sandwich was dry and somehow was not spicy whatsoever. It was one of the worst chicken sandwiches I?ve ever had. Skip this place. To many good places in thetriangle. This isn?t it.

We have been to Gastropub for multiple dinner services, but last nights wine pairing event was over the top. Chef Joe Boozer and his team put together an incredible event. Food was incredible, service was unmatched, and the atmosphere was (and always is) first class. Every dish was perfect- but the filet was everything you dream a filet to be. Highly recommend Gastropub for dinner, and DO NOT miss a chance for a pairing event.

Chicken Schnitzel is HUGE and very tasty. Wife, native Marylander gave two thumbs up to the Maryland crab dip (something she would rarely do as anyone outside of Maryland usually butchers crab recipes in her opinion).

We have attended multiple dinner services here and love the place- however we attended our first wine pairing event and WOW. Chef Joe and his team prepared and incredible menu that fused perfectly with the sommelier guided wine tastings. Hard to decided on a favorite dish, but the filet and lamb chops separated themselves for sure. DO NOT miss a chance to attend one of these events.
