Manuela Malasada - Waimea

Near the entrance of Hapuna State Park, we finally tried some Malasadas. I had three flavors: Lilikoi, Haupia, and strawberry. All of them were excellent, but I personally loved the Lilikoi!

A must-try! The malasadas were fantastic, and the owners were incredibly friendly.

Deliciously fresh and sweet treats! Make sure to bring cash. The chocolate peanut butter flavor is fantastic. You really have to enjoy them hot; otherwise, you're missing out on half of the experience. Bon appétit!

Good donuts and convenient location near hotels. You are just cash, you need to buy a minimum of 3 Malasadas, and are a bit over price. If your willing to drive 20 minutes more to a nearby city, you will find Malasadas at a better price and good quality as well. Overall good tasting donuts and friendly customer service.

Great roadside stop. It can be slow, especially if there’s a line. I’m not a big sweets eater but even I could admit these are very tasty.
