Dan-o's Doner - Waimea

I will miss Dan-o's Doner. Every trip to west side of da Island, I'd have to stop at Dan-o's. Why must we lose the best, high quality places to eat but left with mediocre restaurants? You will be missed! No place like you on da Island. Aloha

Found this place as we cruised around the island. I'm glad we stopped the food was awesome!

Every time we go to Waimea (we're from Kona) we stop at Dan-o's. If you haven't tried it, you must. Service is exceptional, food is always warm and delicious, and they have the only fries in the island I can eat without any condiments.

Our new go-to spot in Waimea! Hands down, the best falafel wrap I've ever had, esp. with the garlic sauce. The falafel is light and super flavorful and the veggies are fresh and crispy. Overall the perfect balance. And, the highlight was the garlic fries. We love garlic and they could not have had more flavor. Incredibly addictive! Highly recommend this amazing spot!

Awesome fresh pita bread and very lean beef. Overall, very tasty just needs a little more salt but I could have probably corrected that if I wasn't so hungry and finished it within moments. The furikake seasoned fries were the best I had on the big island. There's one bench to sit and eat which was very nice for us since we were tired of eating in the car.
