Hokus Food Truck - Waimea

I really enjoyed their food! The Korean dish was my favorite, and the mahi mahi and pork belly were also delicious!

The black dogs were incredible! this is a must try food truck, and the people there work really great! eating is changing and sometimes it is different. but no matter what I had, everything was great!

Hoku is not to miss, perfectly to refuel after a day in the ****. we had pork belly, mahi mahi, pork and korean shun. all four were good of the charts! if I had to arrange them, it would probably be chicken, cocky, fish and pulled swarm, but if any of these dishes awaken their interest, they will not be disappointed! I really enjoyed my meal yesterday and I can't wait to come back for more delicious specials. Don't overlook this restaurant—make sure to stop by on your way up the canyon; it's right at the turn for Koke'e.

Incredible authentic Asian Hawaiian cuisine! It took us a bit of searching to find this place, which is located directly across from the Waimea Baptist Church. Their motto is "come hungry, leave sleepy," and they definitely delivered on that! My husband and I shared a dish, and we were so full that we could hardly eat for the rest of the day! We had kalbi, crispy roast pork, kimchi, potato salad, and noodles. During our 8-day stay on the island, this was one of our top three dining experiences. Afterwards, we enjoyed a short stroll to Jojo's Shave Ice, which offered the best shave ice around!
