Provas - Vila Nova de Gaia

We had not booked and they squeezed us in too busy restaurant, we had a lovely friendly welcome and the staff were very welcoming. The menu was varied and as a veggie I had plenty of choices, I chose patron pepper’s followed by asparagus and bread soup and this was very tasty, though very filling, my wife had the bean omelette and my daughter had a fantastic chilli prawn, however the best was yet to come as they had a special sweet option of pineapple or strawberry in a port reduction which was terrific! Lovely people, good food try it!

Service was great. Had the seabass and it was so fresh. Al was excellent with his recommendations. We had great starters and the staff all get 5 stars.

We visited from the UK, the host was very welcoming and all serving staff very friendly. Food was really good and definitely value for money. Would definitely revisit when returning to Porto.

Had an excellent dinner here this evening. One of us had the pork tenderloin skewer and the other the hamburger in puff pastry. Both with lovely fries. We both enjoyed them. Followed by cheesecake and passion fruit pie. A very enjoyable meal with friendly service.

Entramos por acaso e foi um sucesso. Garçons muito atenciosos e ótimo custo-benefício. Recomendo o bacalhau com natas.
