Emotivo - Porto

A really pleasant find. We came when they opened and they quickly explained the options that a simple game to find out which of the 2 regions we would eat (they change every 2 months, so are covered every 12 every year). It's a sharing menu. We had 5 courses, one of which was the last two desserts. The chef declared the elections and her house front brought the food, explained everything and helped with the wine: he directed me away from a glass of wine and we agreed a bottle of red. It was great. You must be flexible. Portions are on the big side, but we enjoyed all the dishes. It's small: maybe 14-16 covers, so it can be loud as it was with a large group of people visiting a conference, but it was good. A good wine list. Very recommended.

Dining at this restaurant is the whole experience, it's not just a simple meal. Staff is very attentive, chef herself is very sweet and does a great introduction into the meal course. I would recommend everyone visiting Porto to come here for an amazing food adventure.

Great experience, has made us on a Portuguese trip. the cook and waiter, where so nice and friendly. very chilled atmosphere and everything was so personal, because the place was just a small group of people in every round, so it was very cozy. Nice eating that consisted of seafood that we had not tasted before. 10/10!
